TravelHost

About a week ago I started an internship for TravelHost Southwest Idaho. Because TravelHost makes its money off of ads and advertorials it isn't the sharp edged journalism job that I hope to have one day. However, I am learning a ton of stuff about advertising and PR work. Even though those aren't my goals it life, I feel that every experience helps widen my eyes and will help me later in life.
So, I'm pretty happy about it! Our very first issue(the person I'm working for just bought the rights to publish in Southwest Idaho) is coming out July 19! First deadline is June 12. The magazine is having a rough start, but that is why I was hired--to smooth those edges out. I'll let you know how it goes.

Worst couple of weeks ever.

My arthritis flared.

Half my power went out--someone explain out that happens?-- causing my fridge to dethaw . . . all over everything.

I slept through an alarm, which I never do.

Finals, what more do I really need to say.

Major insomnia, I seriously don't know how I'm functioning right now.

Some "tiffs" with "friends."

Haven't got to take my Geology Final yet, I'm scared shitless.

Call from a collection service agency about something I took care of a long time ago--might I add the whole thing was one hell of a misunderstanding. I'm very good and very responsible with money.

And

Grandpa died. RIP. I respected you ability to change your mind.


I am being tested.
Gotta love it.

Seriously, I'm laughing so hard at this post that I'm crying (tears of what, I have no idea, which is the best part).
